Mondays - Ages 4-7: 3:30 - 4:00 or 5:15 - 5:45 STORY-TIME & FUN WITH WORDS Pre-readers and early readers will have a fun time with letters and words to encourage an early love of reading. Parents are invited to stay and participate in the learning activities, and enjoy songs and stories with the children. Ages 4 - 7: 3:30 - 4:00 or 5:15 - 5:45 Mondays or Thursdays THEATER (See times below) Acting, singing and creative movement for fun and performace is what students will participate in during this class. There will be acting games and making up plays, with older students helping lead younger students as everybody learns and has a good time! 5th grade & up: M4:00 - 5:15 or Th2:30 - 3:45(2 class times) - Looking behind the scenes to learn about other skills needed on stage and in film making. Introduction to light, composition, sound, set design, and more; and acting! 1st - 4th graders: M4:45 - 5:15 or Th3:15 - 3:45 - Acting!!! Tuesdays - 5th grade & up: 2:30 - 3:45 DRAMA & DIALOGUE This is a program for students serious about having a good time delving into developing acting, presentation, and communication skills. Students will do theater exercises; debate and discuss topics taken from history, literature, current events, plays or films; and work on scenes in an intense exploration of drama. Wednesdays - 5th grade & up: 2:30 - 3:45 STUDIO ART Make art as fundamentals of design and techniques are learned and practiced. Projects build a strong foundation in basics of art, offering an exposure to various methods, approaches and concepts. As the process is explored, creativity is encouraged, and personal artistic expression is developed. Students will be required to keep a sketchbook. Wednesdays - 1st - 4th graders: 4:00 - 4:30 ELEMENTARY ART An art class covering the basics, for younger students! 30 minute classes are $29/mo. 1hr.15min. classes for 5th grade & up are $49/mo. or 3 for $120/mo.
