I make art to express human emotions and touch people emotionally. Most of my art is figurative, with a genuine admiration of the beauty and good in people, the positive energy and potential of human-kind. In my compositions I hold on tight to real feelings, sensations, and relationships we have with one another and with nature, with a sincere hope for humanity and “keeping it real” in this digital age. I have recently delved into visual interpretation of music as an intrinsically human element we weave into our surroundings that profoundly shapes our world and how we see it. I find myself excited to react and play meaningfully with color in watercolors and feel moved to let the work lead me to new possibilities.
